This place is beautiful, really cute for a date night or going with a group of friends. We made reservations for dinner around sunset. Your table is located on the sand so keep that in mind for footwear. There were a few groups who were there for the beach and were drinking/partying on the sand but somehow it's still a nice environment to enjoy your dinner. Food was good, not the best ever for the price but the ambience makes it worth it.
Just wow. Everything is amazing. Food is fresh and delicious. Food comes out promptly. Staff is attentive and pleasant. They have entertainment. Both times I have been they had a dj or an entertainer. Place feels like you're in Tulum or another country far from Miami. I highly recommend. I had lamb chops, Bronzino, fried lobster and watermelon salad. Everything was amazing.
What a gorgeous place with great service, amazing food, and the best views. Make a reservation for a chaise if you want a memorable experience. It will be hot, so hop in the water to cool down! You may see a huge lizard like I did, though, so keep your eyes open... As for food, I strongly recommend the hamachi, fresh oysters on the half shell, shrimp cocktails and especially the beef carpaccio! The prices are in-line with Miami standards, but it's worthwhile for the views and the vibes. If you want an elevated experience, this is the place to go. Be sure to plan ahead as much as possible. I took an Uber here, so I'm not sure what parking is like. I did see a valet station, though.
This restaurant has really good seafood and has absolutely stunning water front views especially during golden hour. During the day the sand and the vibe just screams Miami so I'd definitely check this place out if you're on vacation. The service is attentive as well! The food although good was very pricey and the portions are pretty small for the price in my opinion. That being said the cocktails are pretty tasty so that was also a plus
The vibes here are AMAZINGGG. It feels like you were transported to Tulum. The views at sunset are incredible, I would recommend coming here at sunset time to enjoy it. The greek salad and the carpaccio was amazing. The seafood platter was just okay, it was a lot of food but not very flavorful. The service was quick. Would defintely come back here for the vibes!
Joia Beach has been one restaurant on my list to try, and I'm so happy I finally went! Reservations are a must as they seem often busy, and parking is available for $20. When we arrived, we requested not to be seated directly on the sand and were moved after asking our host. I wish they offered us options before seating my party of 4. For a Sunday night, the music was blasting, creating a lively dining atmosphere. I forgot my waiter's name, and it's not on the check, but he was terrific and well-versed in the menu. I enjoyed a cute Paradise Found for my drink (unfortunately, our drinks took over 15 mins) and ordered a Joia Burger. My meal was so filling. I did think my burger was slightly under medium rare, but I didn't mind (our food came to our table quicker than the food). There was a photographer who took framed photos for $20 each. I bought 1 as the photographer took very nice photos but they should offer deals if you buy multiple. Lastly for dessert, I enjoyed a delicious crème brûlée. My table enjoyed our food and will certainly return to Joia Beach. It was an excellent restaurant to enjoy my birthday!
I recently went to Joia beach for date night. Let me start off by saying, I highly recommended Joia beach restaurant located in Miami Beach. They offer a variety of freshly prepared seafood dishes and drinks, with stunning views of the beach. The restaurant has a fun and relaxing ambiance, with friendly staff and efficient service. I recommended making reservations in advance, as the restaurant tends to be crowded, especially during peak hours. Overall, Joia beach seems to be a great choice for those looking to enjoy a delicious meal with an ocean view. The menu , offers a wide variety of seafood dishes including sushi rolls, ceviche, oysters, crab, fish, and lobster. They also offer vegetarian options such as salads and pasta dishes. The menu seems to focus on fresh ingredients and a balance between traditional and contemporary preparations. Some recommended dishes include the Tuna Tartare, Lobster Rolls, and the Grilled Octopus(My Personal Favorite). Joia also offers a selection of signature cocktails, wine, and beer to go with your meal. Overall, Joia Beach seems to have a diverse and delicious menu for seafood and non-seafood lovers. In conclusion, the atmosphere at Joia Beach is upscale and sophisticated, yet relaxed and laid-back. The restaurant's location on the beach offers beautiful views and a refreshing ocean breeze. I must say that the decor is modern and stylish, with elegant lighting and comfortable seating. The ambiance seems to be tailored towards creating a tranquil and enjoyable dining experience for customers. Additionally, the live music played by the restaurant's house DJ adds to the overall ambiance. Overall, Joia Beach has a fantastic atmosphere that is well-suited to both casual and special occasions.
Joia Beach was a pleasure! Everything was amazing from the atmosphere to the service to the food! The food was so so good, Joia really didn't miss on anything but some of my standouts would definitely have to be the skirt steak & the chicken breast. (I will definitely be returning to try the burger ;)) The only downside of the whole dinning experience was the cocktails - they just weren't up to par but other than that this is a perfect restaurant! I also love that you are directly on the beach giving it a distinct Miami vibe compared to most restaurants in the city!
10 stars! This place deserve their flowers!! Beautiful atmosphere, wonderful scene and amazing service. This place have good tasting food, there's nothing on the menu that's not good...everything taste good. The drink are delicious and you can't not just only have one. This restaurant is located next door to jungle island on a private beach. Upscale chic you can also go walk on the sand, take a dip and relax by the beach side. They also have daybed rentals for $100 but be aware rain or shine no refunds. There's 20% gratuity charge on all food and drinks so if you want to give additional tips there's opportunity to do so. They offer valet parking for $20 but it's highly recommend to do ride share which makes it easy. The customer service is out this world. Friendly and welcoming and always on point, food and drinks came out fast and there was always a waiter around to serve you. The area is so beautiful, there's so many spots to take pictures!! Live DJ, spacious dinning area with a view of Miami behind you. Overall, I love this place and I highly recommend visiting late afternoon going into evening time for better view and scene.
